This was the first thing I saw when I moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico, back in about 1996.

It was a big inspiration on me and had a lot to do with the way my bike ended up looking.

Note the straight pipes: When the guy started it up, it sounded like the end of the world! This was the sound that Harley Davidson tries for, but fails. The owner walked out and answered a few questions for me. It started out as a 900SS, but it had a big bore kit and a lot of other goodies.

those corbin seats look so good on triumphs and Norton's. i pretty dam inspired by that toolbox as well. one day i plan on upgrading my 2 plastic bins full of wrenches.

Doesn't appear to be a turbo, at least I don't see any indication that air is coming from this piece and going back into the engine. Looks to be a fance and compact muffler. Pretty cool bike though.
