Mine is a Machismo model - AVL 350. My friends is the red Electra 350.
I think this is possible on the 500 motor. You don't get kits like those in India. AMAL carbs aren't available here. The only optional accessories in India are stupid leather bags, windshield, disc brakes, and other cosmetic stuff.

I see yours is an Electra model . How you like it ? I've heard stories of guys getting 100mph out of that motor ( reliable ones ) with the highway kit ( Amal carb , airbox off , pipe , 19 tooth sprocket ).

Hey Gordon, is there any more pics of your bike the 'Machismo model - AVL 350'? I've kinda liked the Royal Enfields and trying to find a nice bike for my wife to upgrade too.....something classic looking but nice and reliable to ride for her without too many 'bucks' involved. I really like the look of yours and will have to see if I can find that model here in Australia.
