It was mounted to the rear fender but I removed the fender and had to find somewhere to put it. I removed the plastic cover where the owners manual was housed beneath the seat. I measured and cut two holes through the plastic cover, ran two bolts though and screwed the light mount upside down. It sits flush with the new rear turn signals and puts out a cool red glow on the rear tire. I'm going to bend and cut some metal to mount the tag off to the side of one of the rear shocks or I'll mount it below one of the rear foot pegs if I put on shorty mufflers.
