This is my Cagiva Alazzurra 650. It started it's life as a stock Ally and then got stripped down by a friend of mine. He built somewhat of a "cafe" seat that served me well until I decided to really strip it down and cafe the hell out of it. Here are a few shots of the before, during, and current state. I will post some of the tear down and build photos soon and also keep ya'll up to date as progress is made. Also, any suggestions would be great!
the "CURRENT STATE" pic is sweet! i don't know why but it looks crazy tons better then the other pic. maybe awesome camera angle or have you changed the front end somehow? or maybe a front fender makes that much differnce.
That tank has loads of personality... I agree as well - taking that seat off made it waaaay better... all that thing needs is some stitching and it would be a pretty sweet banana seat lol
First of all...sweet Cagiva. Second..where do you live? The bfore pic looks remarkably like the bike my best friend sold a cpl years ago. would be neat to know if its same bike

Did some more work this weekend and hope to have her on the road by the end of the week. Working on a unique seat and brake light. Looking to build them from scratch with junk in my garage. I have less than $2000 in the bike and that includes the cost of the bike. I tried to do everything on my own and with new or if possible recycled materials that I had laying around the house/garage. This is my first bike and I'm trying my best to use my knowledge of car mechanics to get the job done. I have a 1985 CJ7 that keeps me pretty busy, so I have some rebuilding and mechanical knowledge. So far so good and I really appreciate the kind words and hope that it turns out well and I don't disappoint.
Love the cockpit view, my only concern is the brake line looks a pinched. I know it wouldn't look as nice over the headlight but it would make the fluid flow better.
It's been a little bit (year and a half) since I posted anything about my bike. Life got in the way and now I'm ready to make that bitch mine! Here is the Bastard as he sits now. I rode for the first time in almost a year just the other weekend and had a blast. I need to do a proper seat sooner or later, but for now the half-ass seat will do. These photos aren't the best and hopefully I can get her cleaned up real nice like and do some proper photos.
