the government is putting chips in IDs now which will second as a passport.....when you go into canada they give you the option of getting the chip and they tell you it saves you 15 seconds for each person that has the chip to sorta convince you to get it. what happens is the booth at the border gets all your info and a picture of you from the chip, it scans the chip from i believe they said 250 feet away so that wait time is eliminated when you get to the booth.

What's the call?
If you are short of display bikes, do you want works in progress or not?
I told Loco I would bring the Anvil if he needs to fill up space but understand, it's a work in progress.
If you want a photo or 2, let me know and I'll trigger my photog to do her magic.
Hell, might even give me the initiative to do some work on it in the freezing garage.

Since Lovehertz is away in travelling the exotic orient, we have the bunny ears and tail for you to wear... we need a booth bunny so we were hoping that you'd be cool with that... ;D
Speaking of booth bunnies... where is Druro?... hmmm funny.. he's disappeared abou the same time Lovehertz went to Tiawan.. hmmmm....

Could we have a list here of times people could volunteer to sit at the booth?? I could be at the show on sat, or sun and wouldnt mind sittin at the booth for a bit to shoot the shit. Hopin my DTT workshirt comes in before then and that way i will even be rockin a volunteer-uniform of sorts ...

Per my Friday aft telephone conversation with Noel, I can lend a hand at the booth on and off from about 11:00 am until about 2:30, then I have other commitments.
We need a list of who is on the booth at what times....

The booth is a 10 x 80 foot area backed against a wall - won't be roped off, and we won't really need a table or chairs. We thought about that, and Noel has a couple folding tables, but there won't be much room for them and the banner is going up on the wall behind us (which is a huge bonus!). We'll work on getting the same spot every year - I can see this becoming a good annual tradition for us.
It think either Noel or I will be there most of the time, but we'd love to have more people hang out with us and help spread the good word (and allow us to sneak off and look at other bikes). We're right next to the used bike market and the cafe area, so getting food will be easy. We might have to fend off offers to buy the bikes too

A small table is also a good idea, especially with some sort of covering so you can hide jackets, bags, a cooler full of beer, etc. under it.
