can anyone suggest a front fender?

im chasing a fender to replicate this look? any models have a steel fender and are between 4-5 inches wide?

Are you going to mount it up high like that under the triple?

Any fender would work - just need to chop it up with a grinder or jigsaw. What size wheel are you running?

yeah up high I think. was perhaps going to go a shorty hugger style but my forks dont have any.mounts on the lower legs. front wheel is 17"

yeah I was looking for some specific models I could rry and find a fender to mod

Any old japanese bike fender would work, if you are going to cut it to fit.

Are the old japanese fenders made from aluminium? Aren't they made of steel and start to rust on the edges when you cut them up and don't repaint or chrome them?

You can buy stainless or aluminium mudguards, which have no mounts on them. We use them on our cafe builds, we just cut them to the length required.

mid 80's viragos had chrome fenders that mounted to the fork brace.
They might work in this situation...
