Thought I'd be able to easily find this online, or in my Yamaha factory workshop manual, but:
A. I can't figure out where I stashed my Yamaha factory workshop manual, and
B. I can't seem to find the info online
I'm looking for the diameter of the upper chromed steel tubes, not the cast aluminum lower fork legs.
Any help appreciated -- this is for my SR-250 café bike project.
ALSO: I've read that the 350CC engine from the Yamaha Big Wheel 350 quad will fit the SR-250 -- the Big Wheel 350 engine, as I understand it, is simply a slightly over-bored version of the engine in the SR-250. The cases and mounts are certainly look the same. The problem is that the Big Wheel 350 quad engine is really hard to find: I have a daily eBay search set up for it, but on the very rare occasion when one shows up, it's usually in East Hotfoot, Utah, whilst I live on the CT Shoreline. Any leads appreciated!
Thanks!
