Can someone with a 72/73 CB350 please give me rough dimensions of their tank ?

Hello all,

I can't seem to find the fuel tank I'm after, a 72/73 CB175 tank.

So I was looking at a 72/73 CB350 tank.

What I would like to know is if it wil fit my lil' ol' 175.

Main dimensions I need are overall length, height and the width at the rear where it meets the seat.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

If the 350 doesn't fit what you're looking for I've got a 550 tank that may or may not work. I haven't set it on my 175 at any point.

Seems 175's at a decent price are getting harder to find for parts.

Yep, 175 bits are getting much harder too find.

I keep forgetting you're in Oz. I'll check it out tomorrow since I won't be home till after. Only thing is I won't be able to post a picture for a couple days probably.

The 550 tank would take too much work to make it fit. It's a little large, but not too bad, but the front mount is way too far off, you'd have to move the seat back and move the mounting tabs way back. As it is stock, the tank completely covers the neck.

Thanks Charles, looks like the 350 tank might be the go.
I can't find a 72/73' 175 tank ANYWHERE.
