i gots this 82's cb 125,,,I puts the gas in,,turned da tank the on ands offs and res, kick like a traiwler baiter(thays do the baitin..onds the fishn baot)kick and kick, drink some, thens think,,it desn't start,,, but I dids put some goods gas in it,,I tell you outs heere ond this rocks,,,its hard to finds the poeples that undurstands more nthe fishin boats....any helps is goods,,,
 
I got a 74 CB125 and I think the only difference is that yours is a 12V system. Lots of different things for you to try. Start with the simplest, the battery. If that's not it move to the points, there should be a cover on the left side with two screws, make sure they're not covered in black soot, or pitted. If they are you can try to clean them with some very fine emery cloth or just replace them. Next make sure your points are adjusted properly. If I remember correctly the gap on the 6 volt machine is .014-.016 not sure on the 12 volt systems. Once you're points are clean and adjusted check your plug make sure it's not fouled, if it is you can clean it the same way you did the points just to see if you get spark, it may turn the bike over but it won't run well until you replace it. If none of that solves your problem try changing out the condenser and then the coil. Oh yeah make sure your carburetor is clean and that it's getting gas that could also be part of the problem.
 
The 82's gots lectronics,,and works on the 6v battery,,,no flicker bits on this one.....pionts?...nay Lad! but have noticed somes bunchin's around the box(cinnects to the corboriter) would the rats or mices clogg the box and stop air gettin to the motors??..tanks
 
You could take the tube off between the airbox and carb, but I'd make sure the carb is clean and the ignition system is all in order as well. If the bike's been sitting for a while, I'd make sure to clean the carb and change the plug and get a new battery.
 
ultimate, Im pretty sure this is a joke. First look at the guys name. Second, most people, not matter how thick their dialect is, dont type in a way that mimics their dialects phonetics. At least not to the extent that this guy is doing it.

It's not funny. there is no excuse for posting this kind of giberish in a technical forum. I've actualy had mice in the airbox before it's not fun and yes it can make a bike not start. I should've figured he was trying as almost every word was wrong. I'm done trying to sort through your retarded jiber-jaber. I'm boycoting any and all of your posts till you grow up and type normaly. incedently I don't think hearing it spoken would be nearly as bad as how bad you've butchered the english language.

I'm not trying to feud with you here weetod. It's just frustrating to try to sort though your intentional spelling and grammatical errors. Your 'Joke' seems to me to be making a mockery of this great forum. maybe my sense of humor just isn't as developed as yours, but I don't think it's funny; incedently my 5 year old seems to have a better grasp on the engligh language then you do. (please prove me wrong.) BTW I don't need your 'lectronic ignition; my cb400 allready has one. I also rewired the thing from scratch with all LED signals and indicators, 2 onboard computers, digital dash, modified frame, custom exhaust and fiberglass bodywork all made by me. when I'm not doing that I build and sell custom guitar amplifiers and studio gear that you probably can't afford and work from home as a freelance Electrical Engineer.
