Ok so i have my throttle line and its to long, and i need to cut it down. I have crimped ends on lines for my bicycle before but i also wasnt stopping a 500lb bike. BAckground info: have a cb750 and using only 1 line instead of two.

I have searched everywhere( google, here, etc.) Maybe a DIY is in order for Doing you own cables.

i'm pretty sure your throttle cable isn't going to be required to stop a 500lb bike, ;D so I'd go ahead and crimp a stop on it same as you would with your bicycle. there's not a helluva lot of strain on the throttle cable unless you have some crazy aftermarket return spring... usually the throttle tube stops rotating in it's housing before the carb slide tops out so even if you crank the throttle it wouldn't put much strain on your crimp.

yah i lost track of what i was talking about...

my solution was a cap from Autozone... run your line thorugh the hole put the screw in the end tighten the sucker down good the hook it up.. works great.
