Carb Adjustment - CB360t

Very novice question here, I apologize. I've set my idle down to 1300 and want to adjust the fuel/air mix screw. I've read a lot about 1.5-2 turns out as a starting point. However, my screw as a black cap over it with a tab that hits a piece of metal on the carb so you can never get a full turn. Advice?

Can you share a pic?

I'm no expert, but I've never heard of that before. My carb (1974 CB360) is shown below, I circled the air/fuel idle screw.

Yeah, that's what mine looks like except with a little black cap on it that keeps it from a full rotation. I'll take a pic and go ahead and pull it off. Thanks!
