Carb issues

Hey guys I am still fairly new to motorcycles and was having an issue with my carbs and was looking for some help. I took the carbs apart cleaned them pretty well put them back on the bike and hooked everything up turned the petcock on and they filled up with gas and it started to come out of the overflow on the bottom of the bowl. I know that the float and float needle arent stuck so would that mean that somehow while I was cleaning the carbs I messed up the float level. Any input is appreciated Thanks

its a 76 cb360 and the gas has a steady flow out of the overflow tube

Floats upside down causes no fuel.
Maybe shut off valves upside down (yep, I've seen it done several times)
Or you have a bunch of crap in fuel lines?

You probably mixed mached the floats and needles. I suggest you find the proper float hight, and check all the floats for the proper hight.... It sure beats taking them off numerous times.

with stock airbox use 19mm, with pods use 21mm

I don't have the tool lto measure the floats so will a normal set of calipers work ?

Yup....seen it a million times!!

Alright and I have never measured them before you measure from the edge of the carb to the top part of the floats while they are seated on the clip of the float needle?
