Carb Re-jetting ---Honda CB350

Mowillie

Been Around the Block
So I did as many searches as possible for Carb rejetting on this site and others, and still have a question. My carb have the 'press in' style primary and secondary main jets. Do both the jets need to be oversized? from what i can tell i need to go to a Stage 3 with what i am doing to the bike. but still cant tell if both main jets need changing. anyone with a CB 350 go to individual pods know what size jets they used just to give me a starting point.
thanks

Can you post a pic?
Your probably looking at pilot jets (which generally don't need changing, the airflow at low rpm isn't restricted by stock filter)
The secondaries are screwed into emulsion tubes.
I haven't worked on 350 carbs for 5~6 yrs and don't have any to look at (been doing lot of Mikuni and CB360 carbs though)

According to this, and my manuals, #12 is the main, primary jet, and #13 is the main secondary jet. if you want photos, i will take some today.

I forgot the secondaries are held in with spring clip and not screwed in.
Same jets as CB500/550 so easily available.
You should only need to change secondaries but will also need to modify or change air corrector going to it (you'll have to follow the casting 'bumps' to see which set of drillings your working with)
Setting float level 1mm too high will help with mid range richness. If you have adjustable needles they need to DROP 1 clip
(i.e., from position 3 to 2 for example)
