Carbs...again

Ok so after balancing and cleaning etc I am at the point of buying new diaphragms and jets etc for my cbx550 as I still have an issue with varying idling and general rough running. A rebuild kit for each carb costs about £60 so it got me thinking, can you buy replacement carbs for older bikes like mine? Maybe after market or even from one of the main manufacturers of carbs? Not much luck with searching online, any one know of any sources for this sort of thing?

I'm sure you can find a replacement Mikuni or similar from Sudco. Just give them a call.
