ok, I running foam pods on my bike. rejetted with 110 mains and adjusted floats to about 19-20mm . 22mm is the factory setting which the bike barely stayed at idle. The bike now runs for about 10 minutes after it is warmed up and choke off, out of the blue the thing stalls out. My battery is not 100% charged right now, could that cause it to stall even after its running? I'm also getting a little popping out of the left side exhaust. I know on my vtwin I had to go up a size on my idle jets to solve similar issues. wondering if this may help for my cb550.

How do your plugs look? Are they white? If so you're still lean in at least one of the circuits. Are they black? If so you're rich in at least one of the circuits. I'm not super familiar with the carbs on the Cb550, but on my kz650 when I switched to pods I had to up my pilot jet, raise my needle for the mid circuit, and jump about 4 sizes on the main jets for it to be happy.

yeah, I went from a 100 main to a 110. raised the clip up to last setting on needle. I'll chk plugs tonight. I have a feeling its not going to behave without an upsized pilot jet. that is were it seems to be having the problem....idling....little bitch..
