Carburater Jet kit

Looking at this Carb Jet Kit on E-bay, not sure on what to say for mods on my bike they need to know intake and exhaust mods. i have changed the reg. intake to a after market cone intake breather. and im not sure what i'm doing with the exhaust but it will not be stock ether. is that the info might be looking for?

We will determine jet size based off of year, model, intake and exhaust modifications, and operating altitude that you provide.

I got my crab jet off eBay too, I didn't really need to mess around with anything else after installing it.

That kit might work, but chances are it wont. Every engine is different. Even if they sold the exact same kit to a guy with the exact same bike, chances are it wont work perfect for your bike.


Your best bet if youre going to make mods is just to go down to the bike shop, or find a site online, and buy the next 5 sizes up. Then just proceed by trial and error.


That kit you linked is also a rebuild kit so it wouldnt hurt to buy that, just saying you will probably need additional jets to get a perfect tune with all the mods youre going to do.

They do this for a living and will most likely be closer to what you need than any amount of screwing around on your own. They usually supply a couple of jets up and down from what they expect it to be to get it dialed in.

When you work out what you are doing with the exhaust, at least talk to them. It might save you some pain and time.
