CB 350 Carb kit question

Hey,

new here to the do the ton board, been lurkin for a while..

I'm working on a 73 cb350 hardtail project and I'm trying to get my carbs back together. I ordered 2 kits and I noticed there is a piece in there that doesn't seem to fit anywhere in the carb..

it's the idle adjustment screw, though I've found the early 350's use a different style carb than the later, and a lot of carb kits say they'll fit all models, this appears not to be the case

Thanks, that's what I thought, just making sure I wasn't as stupid as I look.
