cb 360 cylinder gasket

Noticed that my 360 is leaking oil onto the fins of the cylinder.. it seems to be coming from the cylinder gasket below the plugs... I read some posts about the breather tube being pinched and causing leaks in trouble areas so i repositioned it to make sure all is clear.. Now if I were to replace this gasket, would I need to pull the engine or am I lucky enough to be able to reach everything without doing so?

Any advice on the issue would be welcomed..

Thanks..

You can change head gasket without removing engine.
I probably have a new one on shelf as I build 378cc motors and can't use stock gasket

thats a relief.. ill have to tackle this sometime next week.. im gonna pm u pj.. appreciate ur time and advice..

The hardest part is getting that cam cover back on. I've done this rebuild several times with engine still in bike.

I have taken the top end cam cover off so its good to hear some feel that is the most challenging part.. So do I just get that top end off and then work my way down to be able to split the head and replace the gasket?

I think I misread dirtbag's post.
Got another long day today, working double shifts :(
Be home after midnight
Re-fitting cam cover is probably he most difficult part but it's not 'difficult'
Make sure you have rocker arms held up when you re-fit so they don't catch on valve tips (you did remove inspection caps?)
I back off adjusters as tappets will need re-setting

thanks for the advice and manual link... i have a clymer but this one def fills in where the clymer doesn't... should be able to get it done with the help given..
