CB 360 rear brake cable solution

This is my first post, so here goes.

I would like to replace the rear brake rod with a cable, anyone ever done it?

I'm extending my swing arm, and want to get away from the rod set up. i got my swing arm ext turned in the lathe tonight, hopefully weld them up in the morning.

The SL350s and several other early CBs used a cable actuated rear drum.
You may want to start looking there.
It has been done before.

Easy to do. On a CB500 I built. But, same principle.

In the mock up stage, but you get the idea.
