CB 360T wierdness!!!

Well I'm pretty much done my 74 cb360T project. I'd take some photos but my camera is screwed up at the moment. That being said I've run into some things that have left me scratching my head. I'm running cone shaped pod filters. dunstall styed mufflers, one and half turns on the mixture screw, 110 main jets and BR8ES plugs. When the bike first starts to run it seems fine. Runs pretty good no dead spots ect. But I'm noticing that the right pipe heats very quickly compared to the left. Once I start to ride ( 10 min or so) the bike begins acting a bit odd. The left cylinder starts to back fire a lot and slowly begins to bog and the right seems rev higher. Today I chopped the plug in 2nd gear right in the power band and had a look at the plugs. Left one fouled and wet, right one flipping shinning white electrode and cermic and dark rim. So no real surprises really. But my question is what is causing this?? I figured it was maybe timing. But could it also be points?? Or does this just sound like typical jetting pain in the ass? I have to admit I begining to get sick of playing around with this bike I just really want to ride it. Does anyone know of someone here in London who'd be willing to get her going for some cash and or BEER?? This bike looks so bad ass I just wish it would ride as good as it looks!!

London, Ontario?
I almost sent an e-mail off to my buddy in London, England asking him if he had any spare time...

Sounds like the left cylinder is running rich or the plug isn't firing at all and the right is running lean. Did you check compression in both cylinders? They're supposed to be within 15 psi of each other. It could be your coils not producing enough current to fire the right plug. Or it could be a carb issue. Unfortunately these are the issues we have to deal with on a regular basis to keep our rides working.

I had the same issiues. it ended up being my points. its not firing your cylinder. start there ,do your timing first you will notice if your points arent touching you can even hit the elctric start and see spark if yu can adjust them . I f you cant get them to touch you need new points. Start with tuning your bike and go from there.
