cb 450 turn signal light swap issue

I bought some smaller profile turn signals to swap out with the enormous stock lights on my new to me '72 cb450.
Installed the 1st one checked it and everything works.
Installed the 2nd one and now none of the four work.
The horn doesn't work either but I've never used the horn before so I don't know if that's related.
Everything else seems to be fine.

I'm sure it must be something easy but I'm about as novice a mechanic as one can be.

Any suggestions?

If you unplug the second one, does the first start working again?

remember when i said i'm sure it was something simple?
i did the 1st light on my break at work and left my tail light on for a couple of hours.
the battery got low and so the lights weren't doing their thing. drove around for a minute and now they all work.
