This weekend I made the electronics trays and cut up a piece of angle steel and some gussets for the rear end. I thought about hooping the back, but it didn't look like it would work with the seat I have. I cut and ground an arc in the angle for wheel clearance. I brought it over to my cousin and he did the welding for me.
Side view of the gussets. These shitty cell phone pics don't do it justice, it looks really nice. I post a few more after I get the seat fit and some final shaping done on it.
I had my rotors drilled and thinned on my CB500. Godfrey's did an awesome job. I've also heard good things about the guys at TrueDisk: http://www.truedisk.net.
Ran me $88 plus shipping. I mailed him my old rotor and he sent me back the drilled one within 24 hours. http://www.vinmoto.org/gallery/v/VinMoto-Garage/album03/Godfferys-Garage-123/95/Brake+Rotors+_+Thinned+and+Drilled/
Godfrey usually has a stock of finished rotors. I shipped him my old one and he shipped me one that he had ready to go. He removed the old rivets and media blasts the centers. Then, he thins and drills the rotor and reassembles.
The one that I sent him was nowhere near as nice a condition as the one I got back.
