cb 750 frame question.

Does anyone know if there is a difference between a 1975 cb750 frame and 1978 cb750 frame? any help from the 750 gurus would be appreciated

The 77/78 model frames are longer, I do know that much.
What exactly do you want to figure out?

WOW, that was a quick reply, thanks! I am starting a couple builds a 78 and a 75. I do not have the 78 yet and was wondering if all the parts can be interchangable. basically I am wanting to build a strict solo racer and a milder racer that will have a longer seat that I can take a passenger along.If the 78 frame is longer I know which way I will go now thanks brother!

Yeah the only real difference is the styling and dimensions between these two bikes. Most of the parts will
interchange. The motors are the same but from what I understand the 78 models have a better designed cylinder head.
(More reliable) The length difference in the frames is because the 77 & 78 have a longer tank and seat. I believe the
swingarm is also longer, chain size is different, the rake is different....fork & triple tree spacing, things like that. But they
share a lot in common.
