Well got to do some work on the engine and paint I think i will be going with an inexpensive and cool army bike, Ive always wanted this look for a bike.
Also painted the engine with a crinkle paint, looks clean and different than just the black

I thought about using a crinkle finish paint on my motor. Looks like it turned out okay for you. Think it will have any problems with the heat?

ive always used regular rattle can paint instead of spending the extra bucks on engine paint and always had good results, I think since the motors are so exposed and do not really get that hot the paints dont have any issues sticking, and staying on.
