CB aftermarket kill button

Been Around the Block
I've done a good amount of wiring now on CB350's and 360's, but have come across an issue I'm not sure how to tackle. I bought this simple aftermarket headlight/kill switch combo;

Headlights work great, but I'm stumped on the kill switch. I've removed the kill switch before, you just connect the black and black/white wire, simple. The switch is a simple button, not an actual switch. The stock switch is an actual switch that completes the circuit in the "Run" position, and breaks it in the "Off" position. This aftermarket one, is a momentary button that will sit on an open circuit, closing it when you push it.

Ideas on how I can make this work for me? Thanks.

You need a five pin automotive relay.

Pins 30 and 86 go to a black wire in the harness, pin 85 goes to the wire on the kill button (I'm assuming the button completes a circuit to ground), pin 87a goes to the ignition coils (black/white wire), and pin 87 is not used.

Top notch info Sonreir. I really appreciate the in depth detail. I'll give it a shot first chance I get,

I was reminded of this when I went to work on this today, the kill button has two wires coming out of it. 30 and 86 go to black, 87a to black/white, 85 to one kill switch wire, what about the other one? I feel like I'm overlooking something simple here.

If the kill button is a two wire type, then one of the kill button wires goes to ground and the other goes to the automotive relay.
