CB/CL/CJ 360 Cam Chain Guide Aftermarket Pre Order

Well it's not all selfless. I have 4 of these bikes that need them too. lol. If they do have some kind of inherent failure after all the research and "diligence" then chances are I'll be road pizza along with the rest of you. lol.

Haha whatever gets us riding I guess. I've got a couple of material engineers at my work, if you like I can get some suggestions from them on material.

Thanks. I checked them out. Problem is that a lot of really great products are specifically designed for use in injection molding and don't come in sheet form for CNC's.

Then some of them are so awesome that the price is also equivalently amazing. For the company not for us. lol. The trick is to get something that's just over the standard that you need it for without mortgaging your house. Almost like a little girl buying an Olympic bar with a 2000 lb weight rating and a lifetime warranty for $600 when a 300 lb. bar will do for 50 bucks. lol.

I did send an email to that second company though, just in case.

Diligence is good, self preservation is even better... ;D

Yes Sir. Just waiting for the plastic to come in and we have to get additional tooling for the CNC for those little chain grooves in the middle of the guides.

The CNC gent is making them up right now. He was setting up the machine yesterday when I dropped by to check on progress. Shouldn't be long now. :)

Not bad, for a project like this, you are moving along quite nicely.... Looking forward to the results...
