cb350 stator, cm400 regulator/rectifier, 12v coil/condensor

How did you set up the connector from the 350 stator the the 125 harness? I have a 350 stator and am getting ready to do the swap. Also, did you go with a 3 ohm or 5 ohm coil?

I used a 3ohm but not intentionally, found it in a parts bin. We just cut the plug from the 125 stator and wired it to the 350.

Gremlins... Electrics are doing weird stuff. Rear blinkers not working. Engine seems to sometimes cut with headlight switch, runs fine others. Kill switch on the dime city universal not working, so we mounted the original switch on the other side... But it's is reversed. Having trouble fitting the dyna coil under the tank.

shes Idling way to fast...but a thing of beauty none the less.

What does the meter read around 5k rpms? and 1200rpms?

No tach cable so not quite sure, but it doesn't seem to increase much with the throttle. Maybe under load will be a different story

I bet shes about 2k in the vid. Just idle her down till it sounds like shes about to die. then up just a notch...so she dont die...LOL thats what my 100 sounds like at 1200rpm.

Yesterday I sloshed some phosphoric acid in the tank to clean it up, but discovered that the cap is leaking so I abandoned that ship for now. Ordered a new cap/seal washed out the tank, mounted it to the bike with a filter.

Did some donuts in the yard, Going to need a serious tune up. Thanks trek97 for tips.

To do list:

New cables
Tune up
Move reg/rec
Find side covers (where are you?)
Seat and taillight
Levers
Thoroughly clean tank

oops sorry bout that...maybe stuck in Germany. They were a HUGE postal workers strike. Took forever to get my headlamp bulb...but it finally arrived.
