cb125 shitty phone pics included

For a few years now I've been dying to get myself a cafe. Last year I picked up a 74 cb360 that was locked up but overall condition was pretty dec. Rebuilt the motor and fired right up. Love it. This weekend I made a little trip over to Iowa and picked up a 72 cl175 running for 350 and a cb125 for 240 and a buddy picked up a 72 cl100 for his girl. At this point we run into a bit of a problem. 3 bikes one truck. I ended up riding the 175 35 miles in 40 degree weather with some rain. Low and behold she made it.

The plans so far are to ride the 175 and 360 and tear down the 125. I'd like to lower a couple " detab it and run bare min possibly bore it out. New forks? Who knows. I'm in the process of remodeling my house so cash and time are tight. Hopefully you guys will keep me motivated. I look forward to the inputs and insults.

Here's FFJMOORE's build. The forks should be in there somewhere.

Like the rest of us, you'll really enjoy your 125.

Real quick question. I'm ordering clubmans for the 175 and im at work. 7/8" bars? Any tried and true cheap bars or just eBay em and go with it?

might not be a great place to start spending money
Every thread starts out the same what....i bought a cheap bike and now i want clubmans.
Low bars with stock pegs makes the bike uncomfortable and mildly dangerous to control
Better to spend money on service parts, even running/riding there is always something to do.
tires and brakes? fork seals?

Maybe some actual upgrades like larger brakes or forks? Some trick carb upgrade?

Interested in a new oversized valve head for the 125? i have a new head and cylinder i dont need

Although it may not be the best place to start I do believe it is where I'm going to start. Tires are good brakes are good motor is strong. Carbs and bars are my first 'project' on this one. Passenger pegs will do the trick for now. As far as the 125 ill be pulling that apart when I'm done siding my house. I've got a guy that will take care of the jug and head for 50$ but what do you want for it? Piston too?

I have a big bore piston kit for a 125. I would trade you for the exhaust on that CL175 if you dont need it.
