CB125s carb question

4nines, this should work i would think right? or is it too big?
in your opinion.

I'm not for sure, but it looks real similar to the one I purchased. You could compare it to the one I linked to and see if you can tell a difference.
 
I've got this same issue with a 1978 cb125. I found this site that has the "carb insulator" or flange, but they list 2 different ones.

Anyone know what the difference is? Could either work?

Those cheap carbs are mostly knock off clones and are notorious for poor casting and just general issues.
Honda made millions of these bikes and finding good OEM used replacements should not be an issue at all. there is a yahoo mailing list that only deals with the small honda singles, they have parts.

These bikes HATE larger carbs or pods

I don't think larger carbs appear on this engine family until its running a 200cc pot and a wilder cam .... XR200?
