actually found a "high bar cable kit" that includes clutch, front brake, and throttle cables. think I'll give that a try. I have some low rise bars on the bike right now but a spare set of CL160 bars that I'm willing to swap to save some loot.

I bought a longer speedo cable by mistake -- I know, doesn't make sense, speedo is in the headlight bucket and therefore not any higher with high rise bars -- and the bend it required had it nearly scraping the ground. I replaced it as soon as I found the proper one. Rerouting super long cables can work but can look a little ridiculous
They are a little long but overall it didn't turn out too bad.
