Looking for NOS and/or reproduction clutch, throttle, brake, and speedometer cables for the CB160. Mine work they're just crusty and rusty. Can't seem to find a decent US seller who has these, they're all coming from Thailand. Help!

For some reason, the speedo cable on these 160s is the tough/expensive one to find. The others are all available for reasonable ($20-25, usually) prices.

actually found a "high bar cable kit" that includes clutch, front brake, and throttle cables. think I'll give that a try. I have some low rise bars on the bike right now but a spare set of CL160 bars that I'm willing to swap to save some loot.

Ichiban Moto... your channel makes me "LOL"

I ran into these as well, looking for 160 cables. But they are significantly longer than stock, and I've got low bars on mine. I bought a longer speedo cable by mistake -- I know, doesn't make sense, speedo is in the headlight bucket and therefore not any higher with high rise bars -- and the bend it required had it nearly scraping the ground. I replaced it as soon as I found the proper one. Rerouting super long cables can work but can look a little ridiculous

Bummer... I'll probably end up having to swap my bars. the CL160 bars are taller so it might work. I'll post pictures.

They are a little long but overall it didn't turn out too bad.

It runs!
Bought this bike with a crap engine for $250 and a spare for $200. Have about $500 into the bike so far and plan to sell some spares for about half of that. Hope to have about $200 into the bike when all is said and done.

I've got a 160 also, pain to find proper gray cables. Those long cables look perfect with that green paint job. ;)
