cb175 battery delete questions.

Ive seen a lot of cafe's totally delete a battery from the system. How would I do this on a 71 cb175? Ive looked around and haven't found my answer so I turn to you guys to help answer this for me. Im looking to get as much weight off as possible, and have that clean, open look. Any suggestions?

Is this a street bike? If so, you should really run a small battery, but if you wish to delete it all together you'll need to do a few things. First up is to get rid of as much electrical draw on the system as possible. Convert to LEDs for turn signals and tail/brake light, an H4 headlight (that can be turned of completely when starting the bike), and ditch any other lighting. Than use the search funtion here on DTT and look up "capacitor". Theres a bunch of info on how to set one up properly. You'll need to build a new wiring harness, but for a 175 its not difficult.
