cb200 Gas tank on a cb750-doable?

So I just one a pretty cherry cb200 tank with the sweet strappy thing down the middle on the bay:

how much work to make this thing fit the 750? I'm going to make it work it; just wondering what I got myself into! ;D

Going to suck bad to fit. Probably going to need a new tunnel. Problem is the factory tunnel on the 200 tank is super narrow, and the cb750 frame is triangulated on the top with three tubes and is very wide. You're in for some work.
 
Thanks a lot guys for quick replies! One more question though - do you think it would fit if I cut the triangle off and solve the frame some other way, or is the channel still going to be too narrow? Thanks! Mika
 
Cutting the strength out of the frame to fit a tank that will look slightly out of place is probably not the best idea.
 
I think I'm doing this! Going to raise up the front end of the tank a bit. My bike is kinda brat/bobbed out so it'll fit the look i'm going for (hopefully). Did you end up working anything out on your bike?

With that small a tank, he won't be riding far anyway....Gas station to gas station... It will be like a Sportster with the Peanut Tank....
 
This is it mocked up. I was actually surprised at how easily it fit. The frame is not too wide at all.

That's because that's not a 750. That's a 500/550 with the stamped spine. The OP asked about a cb750. Totally different frame.
