CB200 Petcock enough to fuel a CB360?

I'm running a CB200 tank on my build and wanted to see if the CB200 petcock will be enough flow to fuel the CB360.

I have the CB360 petcock but to run that I would have to cut out the current Cb200 threads and weld the Cb360 petcock in.

Also, the fuel line outlet sizes on the CB200 petcock are smaller than the fuel connections on the Mikuni VM32's. Should I run a smaller line out the petcock and then T and run the correct size lines down into the carbs?

Does any of this make sense?

Thanks,

I don't have a flow rating or anything but for what it is worth the fuel delivery out of my cb200 petcock is slow. I put inline filters in and it was enough drag on the system to empty the carb bowls over ~4k rpms. The petcock was clean & free of blockage.

Rather than drilling and rethreading, I would set it up as you described and see how that plays out. Maybe try making the first smaller line out of the tank as short as possible, that way you limit your resistance.

If you start robbing yourself of fuel after that than you'll know where to look.

As long as your petcock is clean and working properly, you should be ok. The outlet on a cb200 (or just about any other petcock) is much larger than the jets inside the carb. For a street bike thats not being ridden at WOT all the time, it should supply plenty of fuel. You may have to play with the float heights to allow a slighly higher fuel level in the bowls to make up for the times when youre really giving it throttle, but with some tinkering you should be a-ok. Even a slightly modified 360 is only using a small amount of fuel during normal operation. Just check the plugs for lean conditions, and keep playing around with settinsgs.
