CB250n electrics, is it ok to ram it all in a box???

Working on my first build and could do with some advice please.
I want to hide the starter solenoid, fuse box, rectifier and flasher relay in a box under the seat.
I have made a mock up from, surprise surprise, a beer box. It all fits in very snug.
So questions.
1. will I get problems with everything so close together.
2. will the rectifier get to hot and if so alternative suggestions would be good.

I've been curious about the same thing...from the different photos I've seen it seems that everything is put in one place, so I was wondering if they should be spaced apart, and certain parts shouldn't be touching, like keeping the rectifier away from everything else.

Make sure you're getting some air flow and you should be OK. Try a couple of test runs and if things are getting too hot, space it out a bit more. Most of the electrics on the bike should be good up to 180° or so...

The rectifier will get hot, not sure if too hot?
Not sure what will happen to battery if it is too close to a hot rectifier?

Thanks for the replies.
I am making the box from aluminium and will have an air space below the seat.
The rectifier had been bothering me so I think I may mount it externally on the back of the box.

That would be a real good idea, you can probably shorten the box .
I would use flat head/countersunk screws/Allen bolts from the inside with flanged nuts on the outside and some rubber/plastic to prevent battery shorting (or cut sections away where terminals exit?)
Did you have clutch cover off to re-set balance chain quadrant?
It's a good idea to remove the 14mm and 12mm nuts and re-set it to highest position any time clutch cover is removed

Oops, didnt know that, I just had the cover of for polishing and painting the engine,
Despite the bike being in storage for years everything looked clean as a whistle and the oil was like new so I just did an oil and filter change and the cover is now back on.
