hi everyone. im looking for some advice.
i have a 1969 CB350 that im doing a cafe build on.
the engine mount on the front lower left side of the of the bottom crankcase is broken off.
i would like to know if anyone has encountered this problem before and has some advice for me to fix this???
do i get another lug welded back on???
or do i buy a secondhand lower crankcase???
if i do the later is it as simple as turning the motor up side down and replacing it??
im confident in working in the top section of the motor but going in to the bottom is a little scary.
please help!!!

If you have a good local welder/fab guy it can be repaired. If you decide to replace the bottom case all together, than you're in for a total engine teardown.

id be wary of just replacing a case half....

That particular case mount cracking is reasonably common on this motor.

Replacing just the lower case is acceptable on the Honda 350's and 360's. The cases are not line bored like some models, so the cases can be interchanged without a problem.

My CB360 has broken mounts too, and I will be replacing just the bottom very soon...waiting for a gasket kit.
