CB350 ground wire and starter wire

I'm doing a battery relocate and it's going to require a custom length ground wire and starter wire. I know plenty of places where I can buy stock ones, but I'm looking for somewhere to buy supplies to make custom ones.

I first am curious does anyone know the gauge and strand count of the stock ones, and second where I can buy wire by the foot and appropriate connectors?

I have the supplies and I can make what you need for about $5 per foot (free shipping in the USA).

If you want to tackle your own, you're going to need an industrial grade crimper since the lugs are very thick copper and hand tools won't usually get the job done. A vise will probably do the job though.

10 gauge wire is fine and is what the stock systems use, but I know some who prefer eight gauge.

Combination of places. eBay is usually a good bet if you're after only a few feet though. Most places I deal with go in 50+ ft spools. Make sure to get copper, not CCA (aka copper clad aluminum).
