Been lurking for a while as I searched for a bike...this is my first, and since I was patient, I ended up with exactly what I was looking for...

1968 version, got it from a guy that had one too many bikes.  He had put a lot of new parts and work into it, so mechanically it seems very sound.

Plans are to learn how to ride it as-is, then work on cosmetics.  I'd like to get out to some local gatherings...I think there's a semi-regular one on Broadway that I'd like to get to before the weather turns too bad.

This is a great forum...lots of great activity and info shared.

that is a great year! i love the tank on those. well i love the emblem on those. the wing ones. great bike! my first was a 73' 350. You're going to have sooo much fun on that bike. One time i road through a field on mine. it was great! i feel like i could never do that on my 750. Mine didnt even have the side covers when i bought it...hell it didnt even run. This looks like its in pretty good shape. Let me know if you need help with anything on it. I had to re-do almost all of mine. so i know the 350 pretty well.

Welcome!

Bike looks to be in awesome shape!
Have fun learning to ride, you're gonna love it.

I took it out for the first time tonight...I had ridden some friends' little dirt bikes before, but only up and down the driveway when we were hanging out, working on cars and stuff. This was my first time on the street. I came back, got off the bike and was shaking from the adrenaline...

This is going to be awesome.

I know what you mean. I think something about the 350 might make you do that though. i swear the last time i was on mine i still did it. now on this 750. i dont.weird..

I finally got all of my paperwork in order and I rode it into work today...good shakedown for me and the bike. It is very strange to feel sort of uncomfortable driving, when I've been driving cars for 15 years. I hope to ride to work a few more times before the weather gets unpredictable...what a rush, though!
