Yes there is. Still no shift arms though. $155 shipped.
Ill be making more in the meantime before the december 1st price hike. So just keep asking kids. I think i have enough to build another 10-12 kits right now.
What a good girl!!! Dont let her meet your mother just yet....LOL
FUN.
I have had another member with kickstarter clearance issues on the toe peg....SO, I cant guarantee these issues are going to affect everyone, or anyone. I am in the process of looking at Differetn Kickers with bends that may work. A close friend said that he used a TM400 suzuki dirtbike on his CL, and that had plenty of clearance and the splines matched up!! Ill start looking there. Spl@r, pay whenever. If you already havent. durgam605@att.net
I have a great cycle salvage yard nearby. I'll try and check for shift arms. What bikes are the correct ones off of? What should I pay for them? If I can find a few ill pick them up and get them posted here.
All you will need is the splined piece at the top of the pic. The offset and spline s are the most critical. The spline is VERY common among japanese bikes. this particular spline will fit my Yamaha 650, and my 83' CB1100F. So its common. ONLY Suzuki GS models of the 70's and 80's are different. Its a 30 teeth spline shaft, 11.35mm od. I have gotten steel ones form my local scrap yard with good results. Dont pay more than $15 each though. My local guy (he is the only one with in 80 miles) thinks his stuff is gold and i paid $12 each when i bought 5 of them.
My rearsets just got here! The rest of the day at work is now shot. Can't think must install on the bike!
Thanks Kris
BTW found the little shift arms. $10.00 I have a few xtras and can probably get more. As soon as I find out if they work for me. I'll post on here for anyone who needs them or just ship them to Kris.
Well a little glitch I seem to have a smaller rear peg mount on the shifter side? Fits perfect on the brake side? Maybe I'm doing something wrong?
put em on my 71' CL350 today they look great! I used the old shift arm link on the CL setup and it bolted right on will be uploading pics soon, but whats everyone doing as far as springs pulling the break lever back into place and the brake light switch?
Porsche77...
What happend to the rest of your mount??? Is that a CB or Cl, or is there a difference? You may need to find a left side mount on ebay. I m not sure where my mount can go on that setup. very strange. Never seen that before if it factory. Does it look factory??
foundation....Add a spring from the front mount bolt down to the lever to return. there should be room.
You can use the shifter arm off the CL350 setup Here's the shifter linkage that came on my CL350 minus the shifter arm IMG_0894 by foundation982, on Flickr IMG_0895 by foundation982, on Flickr
