cb350 shift fork removal

overdraft

Coast to Coast
ya, i searched... i promise... maybe i suck as much at searching as i do at wrenching...

so cb350 shift forks... you take the hairpins out, but how the hell do you get the pin underneath to come out?

thanks for any hints!

If you mean #3 in the diagram I believe I used a magnet.

If you're talking about #3 in the above fiche, then it just pulls out with some needle-nose pliers after removing the clips (#4).

thanks for the input!
ya, #3 is correct... wow, i guess i better go rethink this. i tried a magnet and it didn't work and i can't see how i'd get pliers anywhere near them as they are recessed in the holes in the fork...

ok! got the magnet to work by putting my magnet against a long skinny bolt that fit into the recess that the pin was in. thanks for the help guys!
