CB350 shorter cables? CB175?

I looked into motionpro shortened cables. 45 bucks a pop is a bit rich for my blood when a stock cable is 15.
So, my question is simple.

Can I just run a set of cables (for clip ons) from a smaller bike?
Say a CB175? Seems like the cables would be shorter by design, same era same series bike maybe they will match up?
Anyone know?

I am not looking to drop motiopro prices (spare me the "get what you pay for" stuff I know I know) and I think there has to be an alternative.

Some old school cycle shops still make cables. I say old school because it's sort of a lost art. Now that you can pretty much buy anything thing you want anytime you want, it's not something a lot of shops still do, but they're out there.

The 175 carbs are completely different than the cb350's. Sorry man.

What about brake and clutch cables?

Brake and clutch cables will work. Ive used them. As Rich stated, the throttle cables are wrong.

Are they the proper length (or at least better than stock 350 cables)?

I never sat them down side by side, but I would think the lengths are very similar.

Yeah I looked they are about 1/2 inch shorter.

Suppose I'll just be shortening stock length cables.
