cb350 z1 coils help?

Been Around the Block
So I bought these aluminum coils from z1 ( http://www.z1enterprises.com/Ignition-Coil--Universal--12-Volt-4139.aspx ), and I think I've figured out a good way to mount them using the stock bracket and some tinkering. I am using an rd400 tank on my bike, and the coils are substantially larger than stock, so these coils are a little closer to the tank than the stock ones were. If these happen to rattle into the tank would it damage anything electronically? I don't think it will happen, but if it's a potential problem I will find a better solution. Also, I am going to reuse the stock condenser, is it ok if that touches the these coils in any way?

I've been using them on my 360 for over a year now with no issues, had to make a special bracket for them as well. They are going on my 450 which I just got them mounted up yesterday, was a piece of cake on that bike. The coils are just LONGER, they are no wider, what's your mount idea? I thought the 450 and the 350 coil packs were similar.

As far as rubbing, just get some left over inner tube or stick on velcro or something that will keep things from rubbing together and you should be fine. The condenser can touch them if you have too.

Cool. It's not going to rub, but I wanted to make sure that it wasn't going to arc or something if it rattled and somehow touched the tank. I took my stock mount, and stripped it down to just the aluminum bracket. Then I bolted some flat stock across where the oem coils were and mounted the new coils to that. They are very close together, so the condenser is going to have to bolt to the side of the aluminum bracket where the coil bolts up.

Sounds pretty much the way I did my 450, the condenser got mounted under one of the coils on that flat stock.
