CB350F Stainless bolt sets?

Dirty Dan

Tasty waves and a cool buzz.
I've been doing some hunting, can't seem to dig up anything for the 350F. I'm looking for a complete stainless engine bolt set, you know, the ones with the allen head bolts. It'd be even better if I could find a source for a similar set of bolts for the carbs as well.

Anyone got any leads?

Come on man, Don't you think I'd have the sense to try Google before I started a new thread?

CB350F, not CB350. It's a four, not a twin, I'd imagine the bolt sets are going to be slightly different. All I've been able to find are sets for the twins.

Honestly? no. The several forums I'm on are usually filled with boneheads, and they rarely check the obvious answer first.

If you can't find any set, you could also build your own set at the hardware store..all SS would be pricey individually, but if you want it, you want it

Fair enough man, fair enough. I think the good part about this forum (or at least from what I've seen so far) is that there really aren't too many dickheads floating around.

About the hardware though, yeah, like you said, it would be expensive... damn expensive.

I'll hold out just a little longer to see if anyone chimes in with something.

I had the same problem finding a kit for my 350F, so i just looked at each individual bolt listing from the bike bandit images for each section of the motor (there are a lot of duplicate sizes).

I ordered them through www.Alloyboltz.com ; they package all the hardware very well with everything clearly labeled, not sure how expensive kit came out to (but had to be cheaper than anywhere local). I have replaced about every bolt on my bike with SS Allen head bolts from that company.

I also use www.stainlesscycle.com

Just send the guy an email and tell him you want a kit for a cb350f and he'll make one for you. He isn't very fast but his kits are complete, organized, and the bolts are nice. He is cheap to boot. He has his more common kits on eBay. He knows his old bikes and will make sure you get what you need.

Well, perhaps not as cheap as the suppliers mentioned above, but it won't be that bad.
Here's a link to some online-metalstore: http://www.online-schrauben.de/
A typical motor bolt, M6x30, is 13 Eurocent...
If you want all bolts stainless you'll need some store like that anyway, as no really complete kits exist...

Best regards
Sven

I got the kit for my CB350f from www.stainlesscycle.com, he did not show a kit for the 350f, so I emailed him and he got me one within 2 weeks. I also got a CB350f SS kit for all four of my carbs from him. He is easy to deal with and gives nice full kits with labels on what each bolt is for. Not to mention is was the cheapest price on SS kits I have ever seen!

Damnit, Overdraft... I've been avoiding that place like the plague... It's a pocket emptying black hole that only has a taste for 350F/400F owners money :p

I'll shoot the guy over at

Stainless Cycle an email. When you guys say "Cheaper than everywhere else", What are we talking? I'm going to order a set regardless, I'm just curious.

I meant cheaper than buying individual bolts at an online fastener store like fastenal. I haven't found anyone online or local to me with lower prices than stainlesscycle. I didn't mean cheap quality if that is what you were asking.

Didn't mean cheap quality wise, I was just wondering what people had paid for the set of bolts from him

I think I paid $40 for the engine kit, carbs kit, and shipping all together. Don't honestly remember though, but that seem to be about it.

Awesome, cheaper than I thought it was gonna be.

Caroline is pretty sweet twisted, same color as my 350f. Unfortunately my paint isn't in that good of shape.

Thanks dan, I will be repainting her (the paint looks better in pics than in person), but I am going back with the factory color.
