Cb350four carb jetting

Hi guys,

I picked up a cb350f basket case which used to be someone's ambitious project, and now is my ambitious project. It came with carbs, k&n filters, and two 2-1 aftermarket exhaust. The carbs had the stock jets in them, and I'm planning on using the K&n filters, and fabbing up a 4 to 1 exhaust with a shorty cone muffler from dime city (http://www.dimecitycycles.com/12-inch-stainless-steel-shorty-universal-cone-muffler-for-2-1-2-inch-exhaust-pipes.html).

I want to see if anyone is running a similar setup and can shed some light on where to begin with jetting and needle clip position. The stock is a 35 pilot jet and 75 main jet.

Hey welcome to the ton from Georgia.

Can't help you out , but am interested to read the results from your questions.

Sure like to see some pictures of that......

And I'm just a 350F buff and really like seeing what others are doing with theirs.

i have 85 mains in mine the slow jets are fine 1.5 turns out seems to be happy

the only tip i have is find genuine kehin jets only (wont be easy )

the aftermarket push in mains are crap or at least i have never seen a set worth anything

they flow all over the place
