CB350K Steering Stop

Would someone be so kind as to post a picture of what the steering stop on a CB350K looks like? Mine is broken off (with both resulting dents in the tank ) and I'd like to put one back on so it doesn't happen again.

In that second picture it looks like the stop cuts about a 45deg arc right in the front/center of the steering tube and I estimate that the stop itself is 3/16" thick or so. I can get a piece of cut up washer tacked in and adjust the arc with a grinder so the forks will clear the tank. Then have it welded in for real and touch up the paint.

I can't figure out why/how the steering stop was removed in the first place. ???

(Note to self: Take the steering bearings apart and press out the bottom race if necessary to prevent damage before welding.)
