cb350k4 Swap front end with dirt bike front end?

I'm appealing to the wise minds here about possibly swapping a cb350 front end with one off of a donor dirt bike.

We have some pretty awesome trails in this area of WA. Some of which I can only tackle with my thumper. I'd like to create some height and suspension travel on my 350 by swapping the front end and getting some more aggressive coils for the back.

I'm looking for the easiest swap possible naturally. I want to keep a vintage look with wire spoke front and drum.

Any good suggestions of where to start? I am pretty unfamliar with the dirt bike fork sizes etc. so I am not aware of what would be a direct swap...

thanks!

I don't have an answer for the forks, but if you are going off road with 400 lbs wet bike, you also may want to put a larger sprocket on the back. The CB350 is not well geared for off road. I used to ride my CB350 offroad and it took a beating. It was HOT, because slow speeds don;t cool the motor well. You could smell the aluminum crying for help. Dirt bikes tend to have larger fins, for better cooling.

The SL350 was more designed for off road. Larger front wheel, lower gear ratio's. They are a little rare, but would be a direct swap.

Still, there are better bikes for real offroad than the CB350.

Thanks. I got this bike for 200 bucks non titled. Dirt is about the only fate suited for it. I was planning on changing the exhaust, front wheel, and rear sprocket already.

I have a '74 CL360 with an SL350 front end. Its a 21" wheel. I'd like to convert back to the 18" wheel that came on the bike. Maybe we can swap parts?
