Cb360 520 conversion front sprocket question - UK

Hi all,

I am building a cb360 cafe racer here in the UK. I am using a Yamaha SR rear wheel and the smallest rear sprocket size I can get is 38 so I would like to go up to 18 front to get close to standard ratios. I can find these parts for the standard 530 chain but struggling to find a front sprocket to suit.

Any one have any suggestions on where to look? I have tried jt sprockets and they don't do a 520 sprocket for the cb. I have found the moto madness full kit in the US but don't need the rear sprocket. With the new set up things are quite tight around the rear shocks so that's another reason I want to drop to the 520.

Cheers

Thanks J-Rod,

Was hoping to avoid custom parts but if i can't find anything else will take a look.

Cheers,

It will be worth it. Once you deal with PBI you will want to deal with them again almost guaranteed. Sprocket Specialist is another good company to deal with.

Really all it comes down to is bolt pattern and ample room. When ordering larger 520 front sprockets for my ATC's I usually have to reference honda dirt bikes to find what I need. Just because there is no pn for an 18t 360 in 520 doesnt mean it doesnt exist

I had PBI make me a custom offset front sprocket. 400 thousandths offset, out of a billet block of chromoly, cost me $55 to my door. Had it less than a week after ordering.

Highly recommend PBI.

That doesn't sound like too bad a price at all, a lot more reasonable than I was expecting. I'll get in touch with pbi and see what it'd be to get one shipped to the UK.

Cheers
