I need a new battery. I have been looking around for the smallest one that will work proper. I am running electric and kickstart. Will a 12v Truegel 7A battery work? Or do I have to go 12v-12a?
thanks in advance

I am using this one in my 360. first one lasted almost 2 seasons. On the second now.
Its 8 amp hour and does fine.

If you want small and to keep the stock power requirements and you can choke down the cost, you cant go wrong with one of these batteries.
I have one in my CB750.

Is your bike kick and electric start?

If you're keeping the electric leg, than you need tk know the batteries cranking amps. 7 Ah would be fine as long as your charging system and harness are in good working order and you don't let the bike sit at idle for long periods of time.

ive had the shorai in my bike most of the winter...sitting. fired right up. i only run kicker with headlight and tail, and radio shack rectifier. very small battery, you can find them on ebay every once in a while for fifty bucks or so.
