Bike is sold!

almost 4 years ago I posted this picture:

Believe it or not, it is still sitting exactly like that... :( Other projects got in the way, and still do. I'm hoping someone will want this whole thing, or just parts of it.

It's a 1974 cb360. No title, but I have the previous owner's name, and maybe by tracking him down, a title could be obtained. I have new mufflers, but the motor (7k miles) needs carbs and ignition.

Tank and seat are Benji's: http://www.benjiescaferacer.com/combo-fiberglass.php (el poquito)
Rearsets are Tarozzi: http://www.fastfromthepast.com/servlet/the-Rearsets-cln-Universal/Categories (fixed universal)
rear shocks are new red wing progressive.

I'd like to get $800 for the whole thing.

If there's significant interest in parts, then I'll go that route.

In the mean time, I may actually put in a little effort to get it together a bit more.

I'm located in Durham, NC btw.

No insensitivity meant and I wish I could buy the whole thing. But if you end up parting it. I'd be very interested in the front wheel/brake setup.
Good luck sorry that the build didn't pan out for you.

it looks like an awesome start, buck up and finish it man. Then sell it if you have too.

Lol!

I've been "bucking" up for a while. Just finished a husaberg, working on the FJ1200, finished a friends triumph thunderbird. Still need to finish a cb750. I've got my own triumph sprint to keep up with. The truck need the rear differential rebuilt...

In the mean time, I need to paint my house, my yard is a disgrace...

Ugh.. :)

Anywho, as I said, I may just throw the parts at it, and get it in a more presentable shape.

What are the length of the rear shocks?

I am interested in the rear sets if you part it out and the shocks depending on length.

Thanks

I'll measure the shocks tonight. I gotta say though, It's unlikely I'll part it out before I find a buyer for the tank and seat. If that doesn't sell, then I'll likely just "buck up", and git 'r dun. ;D

It looks like we may have a party interested in the whole bike. If his falls through, I'll revisit the parting out.

The shocks are 12.25" eye to clevis.

Sounds like your at my house! I have a lot of the same issues to deal with.

The joys of home ownership, combined with a tendency for hoarding, a love of bikes, and being convinced that you can do it all yourself.... ;D
