CB360 Carb tuning and tops?

Boondoggle

Been Around the Block
Building newbie here.

I recently rebuilt carburetors including diaphragms on a 1974 cb360. Everything went pretty well. I've done enough reading here to know that those particular carbs are mysterious bitches and will probably never run optimally with the cheap pods/short exhaust that are on there now. I cleaned/synched the carbs and upped the main jet from 100 to 105 and took it out for a few miles yesterday and I'm amazed at how well it runs, though. The idle seems to wander a bit and it didn't do that before, but other than that the thing runs surprisingly smooth and strong. I suppose the responsible thing now is plug chops, although I've never done that before and I read that with the current set up I'll never be able to optimize anyways. Any insight welcome, especially on that wandering idle.

Secondarily, I've checked all around and can't find new chrome carb tops (diaphragm covers). Mine are pitted and heinous and probably the ugliest thing on the bike. I purchased a pair from "Four into One" that they advertised as compatible with 360/360 twins, but they didn't fit. The ServiceHonda site doesn't even have a part number for them so I'm having trouble with the search. Any help there would be appreciated.
