cb360 chasing spark issues

I went to fire it up today, and it was only hitting on the left side. I took the left plug out and put it on the right side and it started running on the right side, but nothing on the left. I then found a spare plug, and put it on the right cylinder, and put the plug I knew was good on the left cylinder. It still only fires on the right cylinder now. Now I can't get anything out of the left cylinder, no matter what plug I use. What is going on here. I'm baffled?????

Plugs wet or dry?
could be a few things, bad contact under tank from points or black/white power wire, carb/fuel problem, point setting, etc.

Have you checked power coming off of the faulty side's ignition coil? Check the leads for power with your multimeter and see if you are getting power to the left side coil.

I now have installed the mike's xs coils, new wires, plugs, plug caps, and condenser. Still, nice fat blue spark on the right, and just a tingle can be felt on the left. Still need to adjust the points. anything else It could be?

When you swapped the plug from left to right in that original post, is that all you touched - the plug, or did anything else come off and get checked, cleaned or tweaked at the same time?

Now that I think about it, I did use some sand cloth to clean up the points. Think that would be enough to do it?

Probably enough sand in there to stop those electrons from getting through. Clean the points again with a points file and then with a business card - just put it between the points when they are closed and pull it out. Careful not to leave a piece of paper in there though

Is your points cover on or off? They short out the points. Also check the connection where the points are mounted. Those little screws can ground out too.
